Micro and Mini Car Day
Larz Anderson Automobile Museum
The Museum of Transportation
Brookline MA
July 9 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Rain or shine.
A parade of microcars and minicars arrives at the beautiful grounds of the Larz Anderson Museum of Transportation at noon, where the cars will be arranged "on the lawn" for spectators to admire. Participants are welcome to tour the museum. Click HERE for directions to Larz Anderson Park in Brookline. (The Museum itself features one of the country's oldest private collections of very early automobiles (1880-1930) from around the world. Worth the visit alone, but it's only part of the fest!)
Imagine the museum's field buzzing with activity as volunteers give rides in their cool cars (try finding that at a typical car show!). Many visitors have never seen a minicar or microcar... it's a treat for everyone, regardless of age. (Experience bears that out: adults gawk as long as the kids.) TV news coverage is normal.

There will be a food service caterer (burgers, hot dogs, drinks, etc) at the museum and many activities to keep everyone entertained. There's restrooms, too. Comfy all the way 'round.
Micro and Mini Car Day is one piece of a three-day event called the Microcar and Minicar Classic. Learn more about the whole nine yards at
